D02 Tbilisi City Tour
After breakfast, head back to Tbilisi for a visit to the Old Town, the architecture in the city’s historic district is a mixture of Georgian, Byzantine, Oriental, and Neo-Classical European styles. Visit the main city sights, in Old Tbilisi. Among the sites, you will visit the Greek Orthodox Anchiskhati Basilica, the city’s oldest church. You will also see the 13th-Century Churches of Sioni and Metekhi, the magnificent Narikala Fortress, perched on a hill with superb views of the city below, and the classical Freedom Square. Continue to one of Tbilisi’s newest attractions, the Bridge of Peace, which opened in 2010 over the River Mtkvari (also known as Kura River). Complete your tour with a visit to the sulfur baths. Back to your hotel Overnight.
D03 Tbilisi - Sighnaghi and Bodbe – Tbilisi
After breakfast, drive to Bodbe monastery. The monastery is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist, whose relics shrine there. Continue to Sighnaghi town, an old trading town with a 17th-century defensive wall around it. Cobbled streets and terracotta tile-roofed homes with colorfully carved balconies and breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley give it a very charming character. visit Sighnaghi Museum of History and Ethnography. The ethnographic collection features five thousand artifacts, including textiles, copper and wooden domestic items, agricultural instruments, materials corresponding to viniculture, goldsmith works, different types of working instruments, and musical instruments, visit the Doctor at Donkey & wine factory. Back to Tbilisi overnight.
D04 Ananuri & Gudauri Mountains – Tbilisi
After breakfast, Head northwards and enjoy stunning views. Stop at the Jinvali water reservoir, a calm lake surrounded by green hills. From there, discover the impressive Ananuri Fort. Explore the remains, walk through the yard and the old tower while your guide tells you the story of this beautiful place. The Georgian Military Highway is full of scenic and interesting spots including a mineral spring, which is believed to have healing powers. Reach Gudauri and the Cross Pass. Take in the views at the Soviet Monument of Friendship, home to one of the most beautiful panorama platforms in Georgia, with stunning panoramas of the mountains and gorges. Back to your hotel in Tbilisi or Overnight
D05 Borjomi & Bakuriani
After breakfast, drive to Borjomi, a city known for its mineral waters and the National Nature Park Borjomi-Kharagauli Nature Reserve. Tasting Borjomi mineral water is best known for its unique healing features. Then continue to Bakuriani where is a favorable climate, beautiful mountain sceneries, and clean air, here you can go horseback riding and explore the surroundings, good sights are even more than enough. Back to Tbilisi Overnight
D06 Mtskheta – Tbilisi
After breakfast, drive to Mtskheta – a beautifully renovated town belonging to the 2nd half of the 1st millennium BC, the first capital of Georgia. Nowadays, Mtskheta represents a museum city, and it is under the protection of UNESCO World Heritage. Here we explore Jvari Monastery, built in the 6th century, and continue to Svetitskhoveli Temple – a masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages. It is currently the second-largest church building in Georgia, after the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Back to Tbilisi for Overnight
D07 Departure through TBILISI Airport
